Why we can’t touch the diplomats?
After 2 hours, I got back and there was a black swift (with a diplomat number plate) parked right next to where my car was parked. The car owner, who was also the son of the Korean consulate was inebriated and was driving his car on Republic Day ( crime no. 1 )
Secondly, when I told him to remove his car and make way for the exit of mine, he started threatening me and confined my personal space ( crime no. 2 )
Thirdly, after we both indulged in a heated argument, he started taking photos of my car and told me that he will settle matters outside this residential space ( crime no. 3)
On hearing this, I called the cops and when they arrived, unfortunately nothing changed.
He kept telling the cops that he was not a civilian and that he can do anything that he wants, just because he was a diplomat in a foreign country.
How fair is that? Can a diplomat get away with murder if he has to?
