Atif Aslam is a Pakistani pop singer and film actor. His debuted as an actor for the first time in the 2011 film Bol. He has generated numerous chart-topping songs, and is known for his vocal belting technique.. Aslam is a recipient for the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan's highest civilian decorations.
Aslam went to kindergarten at Kimberley Hall School, Lahore. His first stage performance was in a fancy dress show at his school where he performed as Imran Khan, the former captain of Pakistan’s national cricket team. In 1991, he moved to Rawalpindi where he continued his studies in Saint Paul’s School. Aslam came back to Lahore in 1995 where he continued his studies in Divisional Public School Model Town, Lahore.
