IVF for gender-specific baby?

on Mar 26, 2013 , 01:26 pm
People usually opt for IVF when they are not able to conceive naturally. But I was shocked to hear that some couples also undergo the treatment to have a gender specific baby.

I came across a couple who became parents to a lovely baby girl about two years back through natural ways and now they want to have a boy and for that they have decided to go for an IVF treatment and get the boy placed in the mother's womb.
Sounds strange to me. Is it fair to play with the nature?
