Master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar has already quit one-day international cricket. Speculations are rife that his fans may not get to see Sachin playing on Indian grounds since the next test is in Oct 2014. Our very own little master will be 41.5 yrs-old by then and may consider quitting test matches by next year. Do you think it is time for him to retire from test matches as well?

No.India are already short of experinced players to guide tand mould the team in to fighting unit. The very presense of sachin is encouraging enough youngsters to see and learn from him.Being the only icon left in world cricket, he should be left alone and allowed to stay as long as he wants. He has earned the right to enjoy this special privilage. kvn

We should wait for his own decision for retirement. Everyone wants to see him play more and more for India. And it is also true that when Sachin will retire, it will be sad day for India.

Its true there is need of young blood but we can't achieve that by kicking out our senior players which are fit and performing well. If youngsters can prove themselves then they will definitely get chance over senior players. Sachin is fit and in better form then other members of team.

Sachin is exceptional player and he has full right of deciding when he can say good bye to the game. Sachin proved himself in all aspects of game as well as life. He is true gentleman and we can trust his decision more than any other selector of Indian team so we should let him take this decision.

Sachin is the greatest player in the world and he has every right to decide when he should retire. Sachin given so much hope and charm to Indian cricket that no one can push him for anything. Sachin is completely fit right now and his performance is better than most of the youngsters in team.

It is always best if a player retires when he is performing. It adds to his grace. Look at Gary Sobers, Gavasker, Brian Lara, Border!! The more you continue playing, just to see if you can create more personal records, you do a diss-service to the game. Sachin should have retired long ago, but we fail to understand what he is thinking. He better gets out or the selectors will drop him (I doubt the Selector's balls though)
