'Indians are cowards'

I feel ashamed to be a citizen of this country where people love to be silent spectators to any crime or accident taking place in front of them. Yesterday's case of Jaipur accident where a woman and an infant got killed by a speeding truck and no one came to help them is an example of "shameful" public apathy in India.

Have Indians become such big cowards? What's your take on this?

sikh displesure, shown at delhi, after 1984 riot judgement is directly linked with the independanc of CBI.so,better to concentrate more on social change, and force govt:to free CBI from political clutch.

our great culture and heritage being tormented by cheap, self centered, coward new generation where everybody thinks himself as a most important person doing most important job in this world. and our routine has become so tight and so routine that we cannot accept to do something different in a day and even to spare 5 minutes in a day for a good humanly cause has become insignificant.

I understand that this gentleman was driving in a road where two wheelers are banned. If so,violating rules is the fundamental mistake for which the punishment is very costly.

There are lot of great people in India. However, I think there are more corrupt, selfish, coward, immoral and non-ethical and cruel people in this nation. Women are gang raped everyday, by passers take pictures of victims of accidents, children are exploited, women are degraded, daughters are dumped because their only crime is that they are born as female.....then you all say "mera Bharat mahan"...give your head a shake!

Indians are never coward but our police make us to take another way. one thing I want to say that the man who has taken this photo is very coward, selfish and hungry for publicity because if he has any sentiments then firstly he give help to the the victim then make the headline.

This foto is a still shop from the CCTV coverage. Everybody in India is afraid of police. Why? Earlier it was British Police in India, of which we were all agraid of and now we are afraid of our own police after independance. We are still not free and we cannot develop unless we are free of such thaughts. Just think yourself and your family in this situation and tell me how you feel?
