Is Holi just another occasion for men to grope women and misbehave with them? No other festival gives men more physical proximity to women than Holi. Do you think Indian men can handle that?
Kiran Kumar
The question is not whether or not men can handle it, the question is can women handle it? I have heard from my female colleagues how they ended up in tears after playing holi with friends and relatives !!

Yes... if they are outside their house.. then it is unsafe. Its as if men get a license to do "anything". I had people come up to me and boast about groping girls in my college on Holi. Utterly shameful !

Why not women wear thick jacket (Like the bullet proof vests)while playing holi? At-least they can save color on their bust cause that's going to be the main target for men.

To some extent it is true, but we can't blame any one. One should be very careful on this regard. We are living with different social people so need to understand first each other. No men come to girl for misbehaving who are from very far away.

This may be partly true, but if girl does say and mean no with a firm foot and not give in despite lot of pleading mixed with emotions, then no groping or misbehaviour will be there. Criminals are excluded from this. But in cases it is true that there are women who do seek and enjoy attention and flirtations from men. Let us not always blame men every time since there are quite a few women out there who strive for attention, praise, romance, fun, TLC and flirting from men.

''Holi is our culture,it develops brotherhood and sisterhood but if you mix drinking in it,it causes many problems so culture is not bad misusing it causes each and every problem.''

The problem with the men of this nation is their absolute refusal to even acknowledge the problems women face. Everyone's giving out guidelines for women. Don't drink bhaang, don't go out, don't play Holi, be a sport. Shame on all of you

Then why did you grope 60+ men during the last holy? Do not act holier than though. If you do not want to be groped, just do not go out. Don't blame holi

It may be partly true. Today's young generation may take advantage. But, they will not dare to do this if there is some opposition from the women. The girls need not play holi with boys. Avoid drinking Bhang so that they are in their sense. If you know how to draw the Laxman Rekha, you will be able to enjoy the festival.

Women are sick and tired of drawing the "Laxman Rekha" To hell with it. Maybe the next time you comment you can ask the men to draw the laxman rekha and have some self control.

Restraint can be shown by men but what about those women who prefer some spice in their life, and want to allow little flexibility in laxman rekha
