Can Indian men change?

The men in our country will never change. What kind of a sick pleasure does a man get from publicly humiliating and suppressing a woman and her rights?

I am so angry today after hearing about this so-called god-man, Asaram Bapua??s reaction on the Delhi Gangrape. He actually blamed the gangrape victim for the brutality that she went through. Not just him, but Mohan Bhagwat, our countrya??s leader made a shallow remark on women too.

What is wrong with the men of our country? Will there ever be a time when the men of our country will undergo a personality-change? When will they actually start respecting a womena??s equality?

Why are we look upon women as only a pleasure object? are we , men is something a superior object than the women- Our mother, sister etc they are all women only. Let us change our attitude. Unless we respect the women, who we picture as a embodiment of a nation- but act as if we are the super human and women are our time passing objects..I am sorry to say that MAN is a man only when he respect a female with due respect.

For the Indian men to change, the Indian woman has to change first. They have to tech their sons to repect women. They have to learn to respect themselves.

Indian men to change? That’s asking for way too much. It takes 20 years to build a reputation and only five minutes to destroy it. Indian men relish that five minutes. Too long have women stayed quiet. I say they should change into the stronger sex and think outside the kitchen! It’s the 21st century and in a country where progress has had such a significant impact on the lives of millions, do we still enjoy barbaric behavior. Pity. Change is beyond the horizon.

In our society the day a boy is borne he is treated as supremo. The demands of the boy are fulfilled in entirety whereas the girl is given secondary preference. This teaching over the generations is progressing towards peak. Until society changes its attitude towards women and considers boy and girl at the same level not that boy is important for "vansh" then only we will stop seeing such stupid/idiotic remarks by men and grow respect for women . It could take generations for this to transpire

Aniina Kunju! It's because of people like you that our damned society is unable to change. Instead of teaching women to behave, one must teach MEN to mind their business! How can you be so illogical?

but don't forget not all men are the same. there are so many men and women who don't do such things but in some cases there are women who Lie and blame some innocent men for rapes for their own sake. Women do deserve equal rights like men, they are humans but MAKE IT CLEAR that if u want equal rights then behave equally too(wrong women behave) then u cant complaint that the MALE BOSS gave BADWORDS or SCOLDINGS to JR FEMALE EMPLOYEES

In cities women taking advantage of freedom and most of them use their body a show piece. Also, look at the cinema world, the actresses have no limit, they are ready to go for any extend. Don't you think the women should speak against the vulgarity? These incidents are the byproduct of the change in society. For me, each woman should realise that I am a woman, so they understand their limit. Roaming around in the night with friend is really not a wise move for those who care themselves.

Please do keep reading my blog posts on a continuous basis and you will understand a lot about various issues. Recently, I posted article on "Why there must not be Death Penalty for Rapists?" at http://ww.itimes.com/blog/why-there-must-not-be-death-penalty-for-rapists

On recently I read in the TOI, Mumbai that many men grope women on Railway Bridges, Buses, Trains, etc. (and this is world wide) is because Men Worldwide want to intimidate women who go out for work and repeatedly prove them that they can be fondled at the will of these Men. So if such attitude is depicted by Men then what improvements can be expected?
