Best Street Food Places In Mumbai For A Complete 'Mumbaiyaa' Experience

Whoever said Delhi has better street food than Aamchi Mumbai definitely needs to fly down to Mumbai for a mouth-watering experience. Yes, we cannot replicate chole bhature or even the good 'ol aloo tikki of Delhi here in Mumbai, but we have found some gems which are so good, that it'll make you want to keep coming back for more.

There's a saying in Mumbai, "Mumbai aake vada pav nahi khaya toh kya khaya" and we swear by this 100%. At every nook and corner of Mumbai, you will find a vada pav or a sandwich stall which is why no Mumbaikar can ever remain hungry in the city for long.

This week, we went around Mumbai to get you some of our most favourite places and dishes from this city of dreams. Check it out.

Vada Pav @ Anand Stall, Opposite Mithibai College

After relentlessly browsing on Zomato for the best vada pav experience in the city, our driver took us to Anand stall- a gem when it comes to vada pavs. Our driver specifically told us that the flavour of this vada pav will remain with us long after it has been devoured and digested, and we couldn't have agreed more. If you're around Mumbai, make sure you head out to Anand stall for a magnificent experience.

Ayub's @ Kala Ghoda, Fort, Mumbai

This small eatery in a quaint little street of Mumbai is heaven for all non-vegetarians and I rate this place as number 1 for street food in Mumbai. The mutton rolls especially are mouth-watery and not dry. Do order the custard after you have devoured your rolls. My favourite one from this place was Mutton Boti Roll.

Bademiya @ Colaba, Mumbai

If you're a lover of fresh roomali rotis and curries, then this is the place for you. And the best part about this place is that it is opened till 4 am. So for all those who experience frquent midnight pangs, head to Bademiya for a fabulous experience.

Dheeraj Stall for Dosas Opposite Mithibai College

Situated right next to Anand Stall is Dhiraj stall which is famous for its scrumptious dosas. From pizza dosas to manchurian flavour, this man works like a painting when hes fliping and tossing those deliciously looking dosas for you! So do make a visit here.

K Rustam Icecream @ Churchgate

Situated at the heart of Mumbai is this small shop famous for its variety of ice cream flavours. The sandwiched icecreams are a delight and are available in more than 100 flavours. Why this place is so special? Well, the vendor runs out of his entire stock in just 2 hours of selling.

Sandwizza @ Santa Cruz West

If you're a lover of sandwiches then you must head out to Santa cruz at Sandwizza for its delicious veg grilled sandwich. A tip from us- Forget counting your calories while devouring these.

Shiv Sagar @ Juhu For Pav Bhaji

And a Mumbai trip can never be complete without tasting the good 'ol pav bhaji. Head to juhu to experience a butter filled pav bhaji and we assure you, you won't be dissapointed.
